The Corvinus team of 4 BSc students won first place in the 2020 RSM Star Case Competition, organized by the triple-crowned, CEMS-member Erasmus University Rotterdam last week.
The event was held online due to the pandemic situation, between April 18 - 25. Corvinus triumphed in the 6-hour case provided by Royal Philips, related to the company's global innovation strategy.
After the Closing Ceremony, Attila Légrádi, a member of our team was asked to share his experience about the competition, especially considering its online nature: "Case solving is always case-solving, whether it's online or not, the team must compete on the edge and give the best solution they can."
The competition was attended by renowned universities such as Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Thammasat University, Rotterdam School of Management and 9 other universities around the world including Corvinus University of Budapest.

Students were selected from the course of Cases on International Business Strategy, and their preparation was supported by professors of the course and a number of former students of the course.
